The accession consists of two audio cassette tape recordings of a lecture by Professor Veerabhadran Ramanathan entitled "Clouds, Water Vapor, and the Greenhouse Effect: Recent Observations and Emerging Issues." The lecture was presented on December 18, 1990 at 2 p.m. at Sumner Auditorium at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Institution of Oceanography. Dr. Ramanathan is introduced by SIO Director Edward A. Frieman. This faculty inaugural lecture was sponsored by California Space Institute and the Climate Research Division of Scripps Institution of Oceanography to announce the addition of V. Ramanathan as a member of the Scripps faculty as Anderson Professor at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Dr. Ramanathan is introduced by SIO Director Edward A. Frieman.
